Mindfulness Yoga & Reiki Classes

MYR is about balance. We all need balance and boundaries in our daily

life. We live in a busy, hectic world and we are always running around to accomplish tasks.  Take time to know yourself. Balance your home life, work, social life by taking time for yourself.  I learned over the years, I am not any good to anyone when I am stressed, I have learned how to incorporate me time, little by little.  I started doing yoga 20 years ago. I went to classes and just followed along.  I felt the benefits my body image, but, yet my mind was still running a race.  I had become ill and needed a major operation that literally changed my life.  I knew if I made it out of the operation, I was going to focus, follow my passion for yoga. I knew there was so much more than just going to classes and performing poses (asanas).  I went to many yoga studios and tried to fit in, especially, I had limitations in performing certain poses (asanas) due to the operation.

I knew I needed something more, both my mind and body were telling me this.  After attempting to study to become a yoga teacher on weekends, I felt I was not gaining the full understanding and Knowledge to become a good yoga teacher, so I decided to attend an Ashram.  I immersed myself in a month-long teacher training program at Yogi Hari’s Ashram in Miramar, Florida.  It was a challenge and a challenge I welcomed to become the yoga teacher I always dreamed.   I studied at Yogi Hari's Ashram and learned that Yoga was so much more than performing poses (asanas).  We were introduced to chanting, Kirtan, Hatha yoga, Karma Yoga, Yoga Nidra and so much more.  The program was intense and invigorating.  I am ever so happy and grateful I attended the Ashram.  Yogi Hari's Ashram teachings has changed my life on many levels. As my guru said...yoga is everything, prayers, chanting, foods we put into our body, doing good deeds, meditating, interacting with others.

 I am grateful to be able share my yoga practice with others. 

(Know, you do not have to stand upside down or bend like a pretzel to practice Yoga. The practice

of Yoga is about becoming one with yourself.)
